Description:

Nidhogg is the reverse serpent of Jormungandr. While the latter protects, the former devours life. Imagine a world without Nidhogg, death and decay would resist rest, with it and similar to the mycelium network, Nidhogg recycles life. The depiction of the world serpent here is of the animistic and pagan druidry nature, of harmony and reverence of the natural world.


Notes:

  • Devours life, like the mycelium network, mushroom is the ability to recycle life.

  • Skin shed- growth and renew

  • Consuming death, the ability of cycle

  • Jormungandr giver of life, channeling energy

  • Nighogg recycle of life. Name of a being that was long forgotten and renamed into something that defiles it.
