Description V. 0.1.4 8/12/20
A Momento Mori. The top branch area is where the artist is experimenting with painting realistic leaves, while the lower portion are colorful foliages, intertwining in a bloom of collages.

The center right is a collection of florals that were painted and studied as they went through various days, depicting various states of time. This serves as a reminder to us that life itself is finite, and we should all treat it more preciously.

Technical:
Digitally painted with photoshop and wacom intuos medium-size tablet in 2009. A study piece that is painted over the course of a year. Instead of sketch pages, it is a collection of painting exercises the artist used to understand various digital painting processes and stylizations.

Digital Painting
The painting process is made using an art software, such asPhotoshop, Artrage, Corel Painter etc as a digital medium.

Next, a hardware tool is needed; either a Wacom Intuos Pro(tablet hardware) or a Wacom Cintiq( Monitor, direct on screen). This hardware comes with a physical pen that digitizes the paint stroke process. Paintings made this way are no different from traditional mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, or mix media etc. The only differences are archival, procedural, and modrentechnology. This allows artists to extend to even more mediums and painting platforms, all the while opening doorways to the virtual reality.

Spec:

Each of these signed artwork are 13x19inch full bleed, printed on a velvet matte paper texture. Superb, vibrant, semi-giclée quality and are lightfast. Avoid direct sunlight. Museum glass is recommended for longevity and minimal glare viewing. Otherwise glass, clear acrylic or plastic surface are encouraged to not only protect, but also a lasting means for you and your family to cherish and share these many more stories to come.
