Description:
Tacit kinship. The clockwork of our pursuits, even if the path is an internal one, we are not alone in this adventure. An unending winding of time, a brightly lid one.

Our individuality, no matter the difference of our feathers, could never distance us from our own manifest destiny; to breakthrough with our own two hands. That is what connects our pursuit of happiness, and we can do so independently, but also together.

Thoughts:
The summit convergence of this piece took place at a maker community that sparked a prominent part of my prospective growth back in March 2019. At this convention, I was part of a group called Tnkr Crow. Our space was made up of four teams; Equilibrium- a modular backpack company, Sires Crown- a designer glasses company, Jon Wye- a custom leather making company, and yours truly, a fantasy illustrator. While we may differ by relative means in our age group, perspective, and course of life experiences, all of us have an important thing in common; we are radical dreamers. Each member of the team strives with a ringing ambition, a need to take flight, and an urgency to explore this world in a creative entrepreneurial pursuit. At the gathering and over the course of the weekend event, the rotation of our inner creative gears were felt, our mission resonated, and the clarity of my mission became more sound; We are of the same being. The result of our continual trial and differences convinces me that our inner hearts are all connected through the same source. A form took place, like a heart of crows, the gathering of many.

This visual marks my 7th year in this cawing path. It is one ripe with many challenges, tearful setbacks, financial losses, and broken friendships. But like the ever expansive frontier, so long as we are able to face our tribulations, flowers will bloom, and the stars will sparkle brighter with cosmic assurance that things will be alright.

It started with a simple invitation to Acen( Anime Central) back in 2013, then an art sabbatical pilgrimage to Spectrum Fantastic Art Live in 2015. Our caravan of traveling friends and community is what made us who we are today.
